Vanessa Silberman
Vanessa Silberman
Vanessa Silberman is a Los Angeles based Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter and founding member of the band Diamonds Under Fire. She also is an independent A&R, Recording Engineer, Graphic Artist, Entrepreneur and has a Artist Development Label called A Diamond Heart Production.

Her band Diamonds Under Fire has been around for well over a decade and self-released numerous EPs, toured the US 10 times – also playing Canada, the UK, SXSW & SSMF. Locally the band has made its mark on all the known venues including The El Rey, The Troubadour, Viper Room, The Echo and Bootleg Theatre. They have shared the stage with Meg Myers, Dead Sara, LP (98.7FM's 'Close to Home'), Butterfly Boucher, Brian Glaze (Brian Jonestown Massacre) and many others. The band has been featured on 4 Vans 'Off The Wall' Compilations, in Guitar Player Magazine with a cover call out as well as had features on, Guitargirl Magazine,,, to name a few, plus regular spins on commercial and non-com radio (including KWSS 93.9FM AZ), and was featured on Time Warner's 'SoCal Beat'.

Vanessa's live shows & music has often been compared to the raw bare bones rock 'n roll of Nirvana, The Ramones, Joan Jett, & Chrissie Hynde with the danciness of No Doubt & the pop sensibilities of Pink.

Most recently she released her first solo single 'Think Tank (feat. Derek Jordan)' July 21st 2015, performed at Alt 98.7FM Lobster Festival & did a Fall US Tour supporting her new release.

Currently she is working on New Material & set to release her next single 'I Know (feat. Super Black Market)' on Dec. 22nd 2015.

Vaness'a Uses: Satellite Amps, Audix Mics, Ernie Ball Strings & Dunlop picks.

"a true one-woman-one-guitar, I-do-everything-myself musical entrepreneur."
- Redefine Magazine

"Vanessa has managed to make music nostalgic of 90's era grunge, worthy of a 21st century platform." -

"Her breathy voice stirs up comparisons to a really bitter (ok, pissed off) Sarah McLachlan. Think of L7 -- if L7 knew how to write well and arrange a string section."
- Santa Fe New Mexican/Pasatiempo

"In a music world full of female pop artists hitting it big by chewing bubblegum and puking in closets, Vanessa is doing the opposite. Harnessing a sound that brings back memories of No Doubt and Nirvana, Diamonds Under Fire strikes not only a chord of nostalgia, but the "damn that's a good tune" chord as well."

"Diamonds Under Fire was more climactic than it should have been. Silberman broke from the norm. In a music scene full of pretty, glamorous female musicians, Silberman provided an aesthetic more akin to Joey Ramone and a musical sound reminiscent of '90s rock with static guitar and angsty vocals."

Sally Grundy
Sally Grundy
Sally Grundy is a Madison-based, Alternative, Psychedelic Rock band.
Grunge-Smear shakes hands with Punk Rock, creating something that is nostalgic to some, but also creating a new sound to hit the stages with a destructive and passionate energy that draws in audience members to relate and feel connected to what they are witnessing. We are Skizzwhores, currently residing in Madison, WI. The three of us performed together at a Halloween show for the first time, covering both Bikini Kill and Joy Division in 2013. With our hodgepodge of influences such as Distillers, Sonic Youth, The Germs to the Cardigans we have managed to put a bit of it all into our style. Currently we have released a split cd with Chicago locals, Ultrahazard. We love being on a road and tour whenever we get a chance to. On June 2015 we released our EP, titled "WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS". With a full length called "INSOMNIA MANIA" due to be out soon. We are in charge of setting up "Grrrls Kick Ass Fest" here in Madison. A festival celebrating female artist and giving them a night where they wont be confused as a "merch girl". Check out our EP on bandcamp, and if you dig it, download it to show some love! If you end up coming to one of our shows, after our sweaty-destructive set come meet us, and if you dig us check out our shirts, patches, cds, and our flea market. Are you broke? No problem, we understand and are down to bargain.
