The Clyde Stubblefield Show features the vocal talents of the lovely Karri Daley and the soulful Charlie Brooks, the legendary Funky Drummer, Clyde Stubblefield, on drums, along with Steve Skaggs (keyboards), Dave Goplen (bass), Joe Wickham (guitar) and the three-piece horn section of Bryan Husk, Pete Ross and Chad Whittinghill.
Clyde Stubblefield IS the FUNKY DRUMMER! He drummed for James Brown from 1965 to 1970 and recorded such hits as "I Feel Good," "Coldsweat," and "The Funky Drummer." Clyde is the most sampled drummer ever, providing some of the most famous and familiar grooves used by DJ's and hip-hop artists around the world. Clyde Stubblefield has lived in Madison, Wisconsin for over 30 years and has hosted his "Funky Mondays" show in downtown Madison for almost twenty years now.
