Many words come to mind when the hip hop/rock-based group ‘MicLordz & Sauce Funky' are mentioned: "energetic","professional," and "charismatic" to name a few, but one word that truly stands out is "success". The ambitious group fully invested themselves in the art of music and in return they received the respect and appreciation of their audience. The MicLordz quickly became a favorite of promoters opening for hip hop greats such as KRS-One, Jadakiss, Obie Trice, Proof of D-12 & K-OS to name a few.

3 years ago chelsea z. began playing open mics covering Tegan & Sara, Ace of Base, TLC and Missy Higgins and finally working up the courage to play "some songs" that she wrote. Since then she's been headlining shows all over the Midwest (Fox Valley, Sheboygan, Madison, Chicago, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Louisville) and opening for acts such as Adrianne, Steph Taylor and the State Of, Peter Mulvey, Emily White and Ellen Cherry to success with eclectic crowds. During her national tour this past April she shared the stage with Brianna Lane, Chris Koza and Larry Long while promoting her awaited debut album "Distance." Silencing crowds with raw lyrics and percussive guitar, her sound has been compared to a five-piece orchestra. With a sound that is always evolving, chelsea z. is an artist for every genre with banter for all social abilities.
